Present Tense

Present Tense adalah salah satu bentuk dari 8 tenses dalam bentuk Present. Atau biasa disebut juga dengan simple present tense. Present tense biasa digunakan untuk menyatakan kebiasaan, kebenaran umum, perintah, saran atau permintaan, jadwal yang sudah pasti, rencana yang akan dilakukan dan kejadian masa lampau dalam Headline Majalah/Koran.

Rumus Present Tense adalah :
S + V1 + [s/es]

Berikut contoh pengunaan Present Tense:
1. Kebenaran umum
- The sun rises from eas
- The Earth is round
- The Moon is bigger than the earth
- Iron sinks in water
- The earth goes around the earth
2. Kebiasaan/Habit:
- Iam sometimes come late to school
- My family is not at home every sunday
- Do you have breakfast every day?
- She always go to school at 7 am
- She always play football every sunday afternoon
3. Saran, permintaan atau Perintah

4. Rencana yang sudah pasti
- School holiday starts on 26th of march
- Our plane leaves at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning
5. Rencana yang akan dilakukan digunakan bersama future tense
